Emergencies do occur at school sites and departments and materials may be needed. Emergency warehouse orders must be limited and only used when absolutely necessary. In the event that a “true” emergency does exist the following procedure should be followed:
- Call-in/Walk-in Orders will be called in to the warehouse to inform them of the order.
- The staff member picking up the order will bring a fully signed and completed warehouse requisition form to the warehouse when picking up materials. No call-in/walk-in orders will be accepted without completed warehouse requisition form.
- Warehouse staff will pick items and either give the materials to the person bringing the order or place for shipment on the next delivery run.
- Warehouse staff will indicate on requisition that order was filled and forwarded immediately to the Purchasing Department.
