Emergencies do occur at school sites and departments and materials may be needed. Emergency warehouse orders must be limited and only used when absolutely necessary. In the event that a “true” emergency does exist the following procedure should be followed:

  1. Call-in/Walk-in Orders will be called in to the warehouse to inform them of the order.
  2. The staff member picking up the order will bring a fully signed and completed warehouse requisition form to the warehouse when picking up materials. No call-in/walk-in orders will be accepted without completed warehouse requisition form.
  3. Warehouse staff will pick items and either give the materials to the person bringing the order or place for shipment on the next delivery run.
  4. Warehouse staff will indicate on requisition that order was filled and forwarded immediately to the Purchasing Department.
