As part of our commitment to continual process improvement Purchasing has provided the following guidelines for carnival game equipment rental and inflatables.
Fresno Unified School District (District) maintains a list of approved Carnival Game Vendors. This list is used by District site personnel to select vendors for carnival events. The District Purchasing Department will not solicit vendors for quotations. Site personnel will contact vendors on an as-needed basis for quotations and coordination of carnival game equipment rentals and inflatables.
Approved Carnival Vendor Requirements:
- Provide Certificate of Insurance for general liability, auto, and workers comp.
- Provide staffing for proper set-up and equipment operation throughout duration of all events.
- Do NOT rent unapproved carnival items:
- Dunk tanks
- Mechanical Bulls
- Inflatables over 22 feet
- Properly maintain, inspect, and repair equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommendations; and maintain a regular cleaning schedule.
- Post visible safety instructions for use of inflatables and equipment.
- Only approved Carnival Game Vendors are authorized to provide equipment rentals for events on District facilities.
